Our Classes

Learn about each type of firearm training we provide. We offer classes for any level of expertise and experience. Our patient, knowledgeable instructors will guide you along, coaching and providing the tools you'll need to become confident in your abilities and proficient with your firearm. 

Level 1 Defensive Handgun

It all starts with the basics. Whether you’re new to shooting or a seasoned shooter this course is for you! Our Level 1 course reviews the fundamentals of pistol handling/manipulation as well as the basic tenants of defensive handgun usage. This course is designed to reinforce the basics of shooting and give participants the tools they can use to improve their proficiency with a
pistol. As students move through the day, each drill is designed to present a new challenge - from drawing from a holster, to moving to cover, and delivering accurate hits while moving. This
course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge you need to help protect and defend yourself and your family in the real world.

  • Shooters must provide own service/duty sized firearm (semi-automatic strongly recommended)

  • Eye/ear protection required (electronic ears are recommended but not a requirement)

  • Ammo: 300 rounds minimum

  • Outside waistband strong side holster

  • Magazine carrier (2 spare magazines recommended)

Level 1 Defensive Carbine/AR Rifle

This course is very similar to our Level 1 Defensive Handgun course, however, the platform switches to the carbine. Starting with the basics, we review the advantages of the defensive long gun over the handgun. Students will work on proper rifle handling/manipulation, and various shooting positions. Students will work on progressive drills that incorporate movement and firing from cover before tying it all together with transitions from rifle to handgun. This course is great for those new to the AR platform or anyone who wants to take their skills beyond
just standing still and putting rounds on a target.

  • Eye/ear protection required (electronic ears are recommended but not a requirement)

  • Ammo: 300 rounds minimum for rifle, 100 rounds minimum for handgun

  • Rifle sling is required

  • Magazine carrier for AR and handgun (2 spare magazines for each is recommended)

Level 2 Defensive Handgun

Now that you’ve established a strong foundation through our Level 1 course, let’s build on that! After a quick review of the Level 1 course skills, we move on to more complex and advanced drills to increase speed, accuracy, and proficiency. Like the Level 1 course, each drill will present a new challenge to test your newly acquired skills. This course is for those who want to take their skills and training capabilities to the next level through increasingly challenging and stressful situations that mimic real life scenarios to help you prepare for any obstacle.

From what was learned in the Level 1 course, students will build on their handling skills, accuracy, and speed in the Level 2 course. The use of cover, changing shooting positions, transitioning from long gun to handgun, team drills, and real-life scenarios will push shooters into new levels of proficiency.

Ohio Concealed Carry

Our CCW course is taught by NRA certified instructors and is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to be an informed and responsible concealed carry holder. This course consists of 2
parts. The first is classroom-based and lasts 6 hours. During this time students will cover the basics of shooting, safety, different types of firearms, and more in accordance with NRA and state guidelines. The second part is dedicated range time, where students will demonstrate proper weapon handling during a live fire course. Each student will be required to pass a written exam, as well as a shooting qualification before being able to apply for their CCW license.
